Residential Property Tax Appeals

Although the fair market value (FMV) of homes, condominiums and other residential property is assessed once every three years, the township assessor’s review and adjust assessed values every year. Real estate taxes are based on two factors; 1) the township assessor’s opinion of the FMV of your property; and 2) the tax rate, which is a compilation of the levies imposed by the various taxing bodies such as the schools, municipalities, townships, park districts and libraries.

At Illinois Real Estate Tax Appeal, Inc, our team can assist residential property owners in appealing the assessor’s FMV of your property.  If you feel the assessed value of your property is too high, you have a legal right to appeal!

Don’t miss your chance to save thousands of dollars. There are strict deadlines for appealing. If you miss the deadline, you must wait until the following year to appeal.
